These are exceptional circumstances and Bounce Back will comply with the latest Government advice on Coronavirus (Covid-19) at all times. This policy is based on Public Health England (PHE) guidance. More information and guidance from PHE can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/coronavirus-covid-19-list-of-guidance
In order for Bounce Back to operate during the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, we need to ensure that we are protecting anyone we come into contact with in the course of our work in order to minimise the risk of spread of infection. This applies to Bounce Back’s Directors, partners, freelance artists, project facilitators and participants of our projects.
This policy is intended to introduce consistent measures across all of our work, in line with the Government’s recommendations on social distancing and ensure everyone with whom we come into contact, makes every effort to comply.
The health and safety requirements of Bounce Back’s colleagues and volunteers must not be compromised at this time. If an activity cannot be undertaken safely, it will not take place. Bounce Back has in place effective arrangements for monitoring and reviewing our compliance with Government guidance as the situation changes and these will be reviewed as necessary.
Bounce Back produces risk assessments for all our projects, to ensure the ongoing safety of all project participants and facilitators. At present these will cover risk generally associated with meeting, gathering and discussing in external environments but due to Covid 19 will now include consideration of social distancing, hand-washing and use of hand-sanitiser and access to toilet facilities.
This policy will be updated as appropriate, in line with government guidelines.
